The Challenge
Aging on-premise EHR servers across 14 hospitals were causing 4–6 downtime events per month. Patient record access during outages put lives at risk and attracted regulatory scrutiny. The network needed zero-downtime migration to modern cloud infrastructure with strict HIPAA compliance.
Our Solution
We executed a phased migration strategy using AWS, containerising 47 legacy HIPAA workloads via AWS Fargate and establishing multi-region active–active redundancy. Every data transfer used end-to-end encryption with automated compliance verification at each stage. Zero patient data was lost across the entire migration.
